The trucker, 50, remained at the scene. No charges have been filed yet, but the investigation is ongoing.

When there is a motorcycle accident, the results are often bad for the rider. The lack of protection that a motorcyclist has leaves a significant amount of vulnerability even if protective gear is worn. If the rider survives the crash, there is a chance that he or she will have broken bones, cuts, spinal cord damage, head injuries and more. This can lead to massive medical bills, lost wages, the need for care 24/7 and other problems. A legal filing is often the only way to be covered for all that was lost as insurance companies rarely pay enough in a settlement to help.
